e.l.f. Cosmetics – One Brand Makeup Look

I have loved e.l.f. Cosmetics for a long long time, y’all. It honestly might be quite possible that I use something from them every time I do my makeup. For Christmas this year, my mom gifted me some products and I hoarded them until I got the chance to write this post. (Yes, I’m ridiculous.) I recently picked up a bunch of their new products and filmed a get ready with me video for my Youtube channel!

My favorite product is the Poreless Putty Primer. I heard through the grapevine that it had the same flawless makeup effects (sadly without the skincare benefits) of the Tatcha Silk Canvas primer. Throughout the day my e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation stayed put. I had a ridiculously busy day at work that day and didn’t have the mental space to touch up my makeup. As I was leaving for the day, I noticed that my makeup looked almost the same as this morning. I had a little creasing under my eye. However, ALL of my concealers, powders, and etc crease under my eye, so I wasn’t concerned at all.

My least favorite part of what I tried was the eyeshadow primer. Before I got the chance to finish my face, unfortunately, my eyeshadows had already started creasing. I understand that every product can’t be a hit for every brand. I love a lot of e.l.f.. stuff so while this was disappointing, it doesn’t change my opinion about the company.

Flat-lay of the E.L.F. opposites attract eyeshadow palette, highlighter, blush palette, and flawless finish foundation.

In fact, most of the products I used worked well for me! I am happy with the new foundation shade expansion they underwent for the Flawless Finish Foundation. The product now comes in 40 different shades of beautiful. (You can see the stunning Nyma Tang apply her shade here.) It is semi-matte and is perfect for a quick work slay.
